Caleb combines deep technical expertise in viticulture with broader business awareness, making him uniquely positioned to drive value for clients across the agriculture and wine industries. His ability to bridge hands-on vineyard management with strategic business oversight is a key strength that sets him apart.

His journey began with a Bachelor of Viticulture and Oenology from Lincoln University, followed by a range of technical roles at Craggy Range, where he worked in both the vineyard and winery. As Group Technical Officer, Caleb led crucial projects across multiple areas of the business, focusing on vineyard operations, plant health, and quality control. His hands-on approach to viticulture gave him a strong foundation in the science and craft of growing premium wine grapes.

Caleb then broadened his expertise with LandBase Wine NZ and AONZ Fine Wines, where he provided vineyard consultancy and played a central role in acquisitions. As company viticulturist, he was involved in every stage of vineyard development and management, from planting to harvest, ensuring the highest standards in crop health, sustainability, and wine quality. In addition to his technical responsibilities, he oversaw business operations, including long-term strategic planning, budgeting, logistics, compliance, and export management for three estates across New Zealand. This blend of technical skill and business leadership has given him a unique understanding of the entire wine production chain, from vine to market.

Most recently Caleb spent 3 years, as General Manager NZ for Multikraft Probiotics, Steering the company’s expansion into the New Zealand market, applying both his technical knowledge and management skills to drive growth.

In 2015, Caleb won Hawke's Bay Young Viticulturist of the Year, New Zealand Young Viticulturist of the Year, and the Royal NZ Institute of Horticulture Young Horticulturist of the Year. He further honed his leadership skills through the Kellogg Rural Leadership Course in 2017. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Chair of the NZ Young Viticulturalist Committee, and continues to actively contribute to industry groups shaping the future of viticulture in New Zealand.
